Community Women/Youth Entrepreneurial Support (CWYES)
Community youth entrepreneurial support project is aimed at creating sustainable opportunity for youth in communities to harness their economic strength through training and support. Communities are endowed with economic potential in agro- processing, handicrafts production, tourism and technical skills. Training programs for skill development, business plan development, accounting/records keeping, and business management are activities required to equip youth under the community youth entrepreneurial support project. Successful completion will be supported with seed capital to start the venture of their choice, with assistance and supervision from the project officer. This project seeks to extend its enterprise development efforts to support vital economic livelihood activities (such include crafts industry, vocational industry and agriculture-crops farming and animal rearing) with the technical assistance to be sustainable to serve as a training avenue for youth, particularly young girls. Community youth enterprise development is a realistic approach that ensure sustainability, economic and social development of youth in communities.
